MERL is seeking an intern to assist with the development of a rapid prototyping environment for embedded control systems. The intern will be responsible for developing a hardware-in-the-loop simulation interfacing dynamic models, control algorithms and embedded hardware. The ideal candidate has a strong background in computer science and experience with MATLAB auto-coding tools, software interfacing, and computer architecture. Familiarity with the Functional Mockup Interface, the Modelica modeling language and associated tools is a strong plus.
