Internship: Signal Processing for Terahertz Sensing

Description

The Electronics and Communications (EC) group at MERL is seeking a highly motivated intern to conduct fundamental research in signal processing for Terahertz sensing and explore novel applications. Previous experience on designing active sensing schemes and developing signal processing algorithms is highly preferred. A solid background in waveform and array optimization, structural signal recovery, convex/non-convex optimization, and hyperspectral imaging is a plus. Familiarity with Terahertz measurement analysis is an asset. The intern will collaborate with a small group of MERL researchers to develop novel algorithms, conduct experiments, and prepare results for publication. Senior Ph.D. students in related areas are encouraged to apply. The expected duration of the internship is 3 months with flexible start date.
