Internship: Temperature Estimation for Electric Motors

MERL is looking for a qualified intern to conduct research on temperature estimation and thermal model calibration for electric motors. The ideal candidate should have solid background in system identification, estimation theory and statistical signal processing. Related coursework on thermodynamics and electric machines is a plus. Senior PhD students in mathematics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and other related areas are encouraged to apply. The duration of the internship is about 3 months.
