Internship: Model Predictive Control for HVAC Systems

MERL is seeking a motivated and qualified individual to conduct research on predictive control for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in dynamics, control, and/or thermodynamics. PhD students in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering with focus on dynamics, control, and/or HVAC are encouraged to apply. The intern will collaborate with MERL researchers in developing models and control algorithms for HVAC systems. Start date for this internship is flexible and the expected duration is approximately 3-6 months.
