MERL's Computer Vision group is seeking a highly motivated intern for performing research in machine learning which more closely model how people learn tasks and use learned tasks as building blocks for learning and performing other related tasks. The ideal candidate is working towards a Ph.D. in computer science, with a focus on machine learning (for computer vision). We are looking for candidates that are experienced in deep learning. Strong programming skills and knowledge of at least one deep learning library required. We strongly encourage to seek publication of the results obtained during the internship. Duration and start date are flexible.
