Internship: Numerical Methods in Thermal-fluid Systems

MERL is seeking a motivated and qualified individual to conduct research in numerical modeling of thermal fluid systems. A solid background in numerical methods in differential algebraic equations (DAEs) is expected. Expertise in numerical modeling and simulation of fluid dynamics and heat transfer is highly desirable. The duration of the internship is expected to be 3 months, with flexible start date. Senior Ph.D. students in applied mathematics, chemical/mechanical engineering with related background are encouraged to apply.
