Internship: Sensor placement for state estimation

MERL is seeking a motivated and qualified individual to conduct research on sensor placement and flow estimation. The ideal candidate should be a Ph.D. student with expertise in state observer design for distributed dynamical systems. Graduate level fluid dynamics and dynamical systems coursework is required. Publication of the results produced during the internship is anticipated. Duration of the internship is expected to be 3 months. Start date is flexible.
