Internship: Millimeter-wave and Terahertz Sensing

The Electronics and Communications (EC) group at MERL is seeking a highly motivated intern to conduct research work on Millimeter-wave (mmWave) and Terahertz (THz) sensing. The ideal candidate is expected to have extensive experience in signal acquisition, active sensing, and signal processing. Familiarity with sparse signal recovery and optimization is a plus. Hands-on experience with mmWave imaging and Terahertz sensing (e.g., spectroscopy) systems is an asset. The intern will collaborate with MERL researchers to develop novel sensing algorithms, conduct experiments, and prepare results for publication. The expected duration of the internship is 3 months with flexible start date.
